The Boeing Company is seeking a DART Test & Evaluation Specialist to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This position will provide support to Development, Qualification, and Acceptance test activities in the Dynamic Advanced RADAR Test (DART) Labs. As required, this position may support other Test work statement on Missile & Weapons programs in Huntsville.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate, Experienced or Lead Level DART Test & Evaluation Specialists.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Designs, develops, builds, tests, integrates and supports systems and used for design, engineering development simulations, test systems and and laboratory/test networks.
  • Gathers and analyzes customer and stakeholder requirements to support the development of plans for test computing environments.
  • Develops, designs and executes Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for internal and vendor supplied test systems.
  • Supports the development and verification of test methods
  • Applies lessons learned to the improvement of test procedures and lab operations
  • Supports design of test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements
  • Supports test conduct to validate performance of designs to requirements
  • Supports/Participates in discussions and debriefings of the test team
  • Performs functions as required to ensure calibration system readiness and data validity
  • Supports project management by providing required lab inputs and by reporting project status
  • Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Lab test operations experience
  • Experience with Systems Integration and test

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in Test and Evaluation Engineering
  • Experience in System Integration and test
  • Experience in RF testing

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate (Level 2)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.)

Experienced (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).

Lead (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range for associate level: $51,000-$69,000

Summary pay range experienced level: $62,050-$83,950

Summary pay range lead level: $76,500-$103,500

To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
