Assistant Bank Branch Manager
The Auto Club Group (ACG) provides membership, travel, insurance and financial services offerings to approximately 9 million members and customers across 11 states and 2 U.S. territories through the AAA, Meemic and Fremont brands. Primary Duties and Responsibilities (details of the basic job functions):
Assists the Bank Branch Manager in all phases of branch operations including: implementation of special projects/bank upgrades; building, developing coaching and leading Universal Bankers; coordinating competition rate shops, etc. Serves as a team leader, responsible for individual production, team business development and client management within the branch. Develops, retains and expands banking relationships by tailoring financial solutions to satisfy specific client needs. Provides oversight to Universal Bankers regarding performance and training issues, work direction, and updates to policies and procedures.
Effectively works with internal business partners in a proactive manner to assists in the achievement of overall bank operation goals. Supports the implementation of company policies, programs and objectives to ensure meeting bank standards and corporate goals. Opens loan applications and deposit accounts and resolves daily exception and overdraft items in absence of manager. Coordinates competition rate shop and delegates tasks involved to Universal Bankers. May perform teller and account maintenance duties as needed.
Routinely represents the bank in community affairs and civic organizations to support the overall goals of the company. Handles sensitive customer issues when escalated and ensures identified areas of quality service are in compliance with corporate customer satisfaction standards.

Assists manager in the department process related to the selection, hiring, training, development, coaching, counseling and review of assigned staff.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Work in a temperature-controlled office environment. Ability to work flexible hours.
Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify):
Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):
College level coursework in Business Administration, Management or a related field
two years retail branch banking management experience
proven record of coaching and driving sales results and operational excellence in a branch and digital/virtual banking environment
interpreting reports to drive production
prescribed security controls against criminal and fraudulent operations
- analyzing, problem solving and decision making
Knowledge and Skills:
knowledge of branch banking, virtual teller/image ATM, retail banking and customer service practices and procedures
assist management in the development, implementation and modification of business plans that correspond to established sales and financial goals
display sound negotiation skills and good business judgment when waiving fees, making pricing concessions or approving overrides
develop and adhere to sales goals
communicate effectively with employees, customers and the community
assist in the training, development and coaching of staff
