TED-Ed Team Coordinator

The TED-Ed Team Coordinator will work closely with our two TED-Ed Directors to help organize TED-Ed’s programs and operations. We’re looking for someone who can expertly manage team projects. You should be an efficient process manager, a proactive solution-seeker, and an expert at scheduling. This is an amazing opportunity to join a close-knit team with a mission to celebrate and amplify the voices of students and educators around the globe.


  • Coordinate scheduling and travel for two directors
  • Manage team meetings with precision, and think of creative ways to keep meetings useful and interesting
  • Serve as TED-Ed’s liaison to other TED teams
  • Welcome guests and give tours to visitors of our office
  • Masterfully plan and execute team events (including parties, celebratory meals, and an awesome annual retreat)
  • Assist with welcoming and onboarding new hires
  • Manage team finances and accounting
  • Assist with some special projects and support for TED-Ed programs


  • 1-2 years of high-volume scheduling experience
  • Expert organizational skills, including stellar note-taking
  • Proficiency with Google suite (Calendar, Sheets, Forms, etc)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with external contacts
  • Experience in research, writing and effective communication
  • Ability to fly solo and work well with others--sometimes simultaneously
  • Comfort with shifting gears quickly
  • Ability to develop and adapt a project plan
  • Can troubleshoot tech issues (video conferencing, A/V setup, etc.)
  • Ability to anticipate potential scheduling issues and mitigate so everything moves on time
