The TE Sensor Solutions engineering team in Bevaix is seeking a highly motivated Test Engineer Intern to help us develop the next generation test infrastructure and shape the data analysis strategy in new product valuation. Gain industrial working experience and be involved in the test and qualification stage of next generation products.

What you will be doing

Your tasks include but are not limited to: Get introduced to MEMS pressure sensors, wafer-scale fabrication and semiconductor assembly techniques; Get introduced to MEMS pressure sensor testing methods and processes; Perform an industrial Measurement System Analysis (MSA) according to requirements; Acquisition of data concerning MEMS pressure sensors or sensors modules needed for product qualification; Look into how to automatize current test analysis practices using the modern data science toolbox (python/ R/VBA or similar); Generate data from current test files in a robust and (mistake proofing by simplification) and reproducible way (trackable methodology that allows replication) of testing methodology; The sub-project will take place in the scope of a new product validation project

What your background should look like:

  • Background in Microtechnique, Electrical engineering, Physics, Applied mathematics or similar
  • Working experience with software such as LabView, C#, Python, Excel or R
  • Experience in MEMS, sensors, test systems or similar is a plus
  • Interest and ideally working experience in statistical data analysis or data science
  • Ability to work independently in a hands-on environment
  • Curiosity on problem solving and design experiment approaches
  • Fluency in English, French is a plus
