Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Reporting into the Manufacturing Manager, your responsibilities will be as follow :

  • Be responsible for production and related issues.
  • Ensure that day to day EH&S standards are maintained across the site.
  • Achieve continual improvement in productivity and planning the area to ensure maximum efficiency in the use of labour, material, and equipment.
  • Ensure quality standards are adhered to across all processes.
  • Ensure delivery performance objectives are achieved.
  • Assist with investigating customer complaints.
  • Motivating and leading a team (Employee Engagement).
  • Working with the Manufacturing Engineering team on new projects.
  • Deliver Team briefs.
  • Manage and coach the team (Appraisals, absenteeism, skills Matrix's, holiday ...)

What your background should look like:

  • 3 to 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Management experience is required
  • Good communication skills.
  • Pro-active and responsive to customer requirements
  • Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Ability to work in a team environment and on own initiative.
  • Leadership and Flexibility
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • PC Literate
