Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Support Manager for our AML technology platform to provide the leadership and guidance to support and maintain the various aspects of the platform in all environments.

The primary responsibility of our team is to design, develop and maintain the technology platform that processes the banks payments through behavior detection algorithms to detect suspicious and fraudulent activity. The open role is for a person who is very familiar with the Oracle Mantas (OFSAA, FCCM) eco system and is able to provide the leadership to support and maintain all aspects of the AML platforms which includes multiple Oracle platforms such as Entity Resolution, DIH, ODI , OAS and Mantas in the various environments. The person should have the Experience in solving complex batch processing and should be very familiar with Oracle environments. The role will require that the person collaborates with other teams (Oracle Engineering etc) to ensure that the Oracle batches are meeting daily SLAs and any issues in that process are resolved in a timely manner. Reengineer Oracle Batches with Oracle and TD Engineers to stabilise and optimize the platform.

  • Responsible for ensuring that the daily batches are running properly and the batch SLAs are being met.
  • Escalate and work with the Oracle engineers for issues and follow through to resolution.
  • Responsible to lead the team to constantly automate manual tasks and improving the various processes around the batch including ensuring the Runbooks and other supporting documentation are constantly updated.
  • Responsible for ensuring DR documentation is up to date and DR tests are planned and conducted as required.
  • Responsible for planning and delivering infrastructure patches
  • Work with the global teams and Oracle to automate various aspects of the batch including adding validation at every layer to ensure that any failures are detected early and fail fast.
  • On incidents you will be responsible for managing the bridge and coordinating the response around any incidents that are raised as a result of batch failure.
  • Responsible for creating and reporting out the weekly status of the batch and environment changes along with the KPIs.
  • Be responsible for tracking and managing the backlog associated with any changes that are required in the various environments to fix issues or improve processes.
  • Be the point of contact in the EST timezone for other L3 vendor teams that are supporting AML applications guiding and mentoring them on best practices in TD.
  • Ensure scheduled changes take place with proper testing, monitoring, and implementation and with little or no adverse impact to the business.
  • Foster an environment and culture that encourages productivity, innovation, process improvement, teamwork, and a high level of professionalism.
  • Identify all support related dependencies and risks and ensures mitigation/contingency plans are in place for identified risks.

Depth & Scope:

  • Responsible for managing multiple, broad and highly complex teams and/or projects which are diverse in scope
  • Sets direction at an operational level, works autonomously in the management of the unit and collaborates with other business heads to establish and execute on common goals
  • Directs/manages large-scale applications/systems / projects across multiple product lines/businesses, involving significant scope and complexity
  • Directs/manages a large group (e.g., up to 50) of IT professionals
  • Understands strategic direction (including financials) and champions alliances to benefit the Bank, advocates for operational improvements to enhance value to the organization
  • Directs the development of resolutions, plans and strategies for operational advancement
  • Key contact internally and externally

Education & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
  • Graduate degree, preferred
  • 10+ years relevant experience
  • Understands strategic direction (including financials) and champions alliances to benefit the Bank, advocates for operational improvements to enhance value to the organization
  • Directs the development of resolutions, plans and strategies for operational advancement
  • Key contact internally and externally

Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree, preferably in technology/ engineering
  • Demonstrated experience with leading the support of various Oracle OFSAA products and Financial Crime and Compliance Management (FCCM) platforms
  • Very good understanding of how a typical Oracle AML batch works to generate alerts and be able to resolve issues arising from batches in a timely fashion
  • At least 12 plus years of experience with production support of large scale enterprise grade applications preferably in Financial Services
  • Exposure to working with Oracle database is required
  • Excellent people management/ team management of geographically distributed teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships with key business partners, understand financial markets and regulation and apply analytics to drive commercial value
