Tassat Group LLC, is a New York-based fintech company that provides blockchain-based technology solutions for Digital Payments and Digital Exchange markets. By blending cutting edge technology with sophisticated engineering, we are changing the way the world transacts digitally.

We have already delivered the first digital payments platform approved by the NYDFS that has transacted significant volume to date, and plans to launch a CFTC-regulated digital asset derivatives exchange designed for institutional investors. All products listed for trading on the exchange will be self-certified with the CFTC.

Our digital asset ecosystem also offers data analytics products, including a comprehensive benchmark for Bitcoin and Ether.

As Head of Digital Payments Platform, a Senior Sales/Business Development & Commercialization role, you are the subject matter expert in digital payments platform and responsible for revenue generation of Tassat's payments platform, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone with 10-15 years who has sold digital payments systems to banks and corporates. You may have come from companies like:

  • Direct Service Providers: Ex. PayPal, Stripe, and Billtrust
  • Enterprise Platforms: Ex. RTP, Finastra, FIS and Bill.com
  • Payment Networks/Blockchain: Ex. Ripple, Libra, and JPM Coin
  • Mid-size banks with digital payments platform/solutions

What You Own

  • As a member of Tassat's leadership team, this position is mission critical to ensure that all commercialization, sales, and business development for the Digital Payments Platform is conducted in the highest possible professional level
  • Design and execute "Go-to-market" strategic sales plan for Payments solutions and services business line
  • Ownership of pipeline development, pipeline management and prospecting efforts
  • Work closely with business line managers to build/implement programs to identify new business prospects and cross-sell opportunities
  • Responsible for seeking and presenting (when appropriate) to the CEO partnerships, acquisitions, collaborations with any 3rd party provider pertaining to Payments Platform
  • Partner with Head of Product Management to translate solutions for our clients' business needs
Requirements

You Must Have

  • Senior sales executive experience who has not just lead sales teams, but is also an individual producer
  • Extensive senior level relationships at multiple banks and corporates for payments products

You Should Have

  • Strong background in core payments including retail and corporate payments-particularly with ACH, Wires, EFT, SWIFT, Faster Payment, payment messaging, ISO200022
  • Knowledge in digital payments innovation, payments re-platforming, real-time payments and architectures
  • Involvement in Open banking/Open APIs and cross border payments
  • Viewed internally and externally as a thought leader in the industry
  • Known for your high integrity and professionalism

What You Bring

  • A broad knowledge and understanding of the wholesale banking and commercial payments landscape with fundamental comprehension of the underlying technology
  • Proven track record of developing sales pipeline and selling or business development of digital payment products
  • Experience building a business-minded approach to client feedback and advisory groups, which helps the business make intelligent decisions about new solutions to legacy challenges and product growth
  • Outstanding communication skills with demonstrable ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong emotional intelligence to your work. You can operate as a teacher, a leader, a motivator, and an influencer as appropriate
  • Ability to quickly move from high level strategy to rolling up your sleeves and working in the trenches
  • Experience, interest, or interaction with digital currency solutions

Some Nice to Haves

Knowledge of or exposure to mobile payments, blockchain/distributed ledger

Basic understanding of correspondent banking, trade finance and supply chain finance
