Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: you want to support operations by supervising the staff. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it will lead to one thing: that you be in charge of the planning, organizing, and implementing of the administrative systems. 


As an ELO Manager, you will maintain the administrative staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. What you will also be doing is to also maintain a safe and secure work environment while developing personal growth opportunities. Along with this, you must accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations which includes planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. These includes: coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. As an ELO Manager, you will also provide supplies by identifying the needs of reception while also establishing policies, procedures, and work schedules. What else? Well, you will also complete special projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements which includes planning, arranging meeting schedules and monitoring results. You will also provide historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems. You will improve program and service quality by devising new applications, updating procedures, and evaluating system results with users.

As an ELO Manager, you must also achieve financial objectives by anticipating requirement which includes submitting information for budget preparation, scheduling expenditures, monitoring costs, and analyzing variances. You must also maintain continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. You will need to maintain a professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, benchmarking professional standards; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks. You must Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


So, do you have what it takes to become an ELO Manager?


Requirements


So, what is it we’re looking for? Well since this is a manager role we need someone with the experience to even call themselves one. So we need someone who has at least 5 years of similar or related experience. We also need someone who has at least 3 years of event management experience and has experienced relocation projects both inbound and outbound for expats. What else? We also need someone who has experience in working with foreign nationals, someone with experience in travel accounts or travel agencies, and someone with experience in the hospitality industry. 

 

Now let’s get technical. We need someone who has knowledge in in travel arrangements (i.e hotel bookings, airline bookings both international and domestic), someone who has excellent skills in maintaining administrative staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.

 

We also need someone who is excellent when it comes to accomplishing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. Someone who’s excellent in maintaining continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Lastly, we need someone who’s excellent in maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; benchmarking professional standards; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
 

What else? Well, we need someone who can improve the program and service quality by devising new applications; updating procedures; evaluating system results with users. Also someone who’s a great contributor to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
