Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: you want to be able to attract the best talent by sifting through specialized technical profiles and build a robust network of experienced Technical, Information Systems, and Business Intelligence gurus - to open up new pipelines for Us to find these roles. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it will lead to one thing: that you will act as a Technical Recruitment Subject Matter Expert and deliver sound marketing insights back to your peers and business partners - to drive an educated Head Hunting strategy and decisions.
As a Technical Recruiter, you will partner with Hiring Leaders to build an effective sourcing, assessment and onboarding approach to manage their expectations, while possessing a deep understanding for the urgency of their needs. You will prepare and contribute proactive status reports and/or drive conversations on your hiring progress for active searches.
You must be able to build rapport and entice passive candidates from profiles that possess the culture described in our leadership principles. You will build and maintain a talent network of potential candidates through proactive market research and exceptional relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, and demonstrate the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences - through high interview-to-offer ratios. So you must possess a strong ability to screen, interview and manage a candidate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
You will develop research to map out markets and generate candidate names and profiles; create and execute robust search strategies that will attract the best and brightest talent; and calibrate your candidates prior to scheduling interviews with hiring managers. You will continually contribute to the knowledge base of the group - sharing new information about industries and talent pools or profile types. You must be able to articulate in writing, recruiting plans with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking progress.
So, do you have what it takes to become a Technical Recruiter?
So, what is it we’re looking for? Since this is a recruiter post we need someone who has at least 2 years Technical and Search firm experience with full-cycle recruiting background. Critical to our requirements is the ability to find and identify candidates with varying Technical know-how including Google Suite and Google Mail capabilities.
You must be someone who understands the fast-paced nature of recruitment and is able to work with a sense of urgency. Someone who has experience in understanding tech jargons and has a grasp of basic training and required skill sets. You must be able to discern a candidates’ motivations for job, career and company changes; and possess excellent organizational skills in managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships.
