Contracts Risk Analyst

The Contracts Risk Analyst role is a tremendous opportunity to help shape the Legal Department at TaskUs and support the contract risk function. You will be responsible for delivering impactful contract analysis methodologies and raising risk management awareness within key client engagements at TaskUs in and around San Antonio, Texas and other operations locations in North America and globally. You will work closely with a global legal team to build and apply industry leading practices including management reporting, templates, and processes, and you will partner on department initiatives. This role requires close partnership with other business support functions with an emphasis on management of key contract risks. We are actively seeking a candidate who is a true self-starter, with a strong work ethic and organizational skills and who is above all else a creative problem solver – and the team will appreciate someone with a good sense of humor! This role will be based in San Antonio, TX and will initially report to our Contract Risk Manager based in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Develop contract management framework relating to ongoing contract compliance initiatives and resolve areas of key risks
  • Draft and deliver impactful contract management processes including contract awareness, policy compliance, contract risk management and reporting, deliverables and obligations matrices, and management of intellectual property, fraud prevention and data privacy interests
  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts (both pre-sale and post-sale) and develop templates to address ongoing business requirements
  • Build durable, trusted relationships with client services, operations, human resources, workforce management and other internal departments as a representative of the legal team
  • Monitor and provide regular reporting to internal department stakeholders on their specific risk exposures and risk controls
  • Actively participate in growth and expansion initiatives within the legal function
  • Contribute to the development of contracting best practices, playbooks and process automation


  • Highly analytical (with both words and numbers)

  • Minimum of 3 years of drafting and negotiating outsourcing services agreements and MSA amendments, service level agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and statements of work
  • Project Management experience, with ability to maintain the objectives while honoring designated constraints
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills
  • Able to travel up to 40% of the time, which may include international travel
  • Standing and sitting for sustained periods of time, at least 50%
  • Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading
