Processing Specialist III - Business Processing

Position Purpose:
The purpose of this position is, but is not limited to, performing processing activities in the Customer Services area. Processing activities may include data entry, scanning, and auditing. Secondary responsibilities include special projects as assigned and backup phone support as required.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position working Monday through Friday either from 12:30pm-9pm or 1:30pm-10pm. The position will report to our Manager of Business Processing.

Positional Responsibilities:

  • Processing of current and new business according to procedure including, but not limited to:
    • Data entry
    • Mail
    • Project Management
    • Scanning
    • Bin Management
    • Auditing
    • Process Ownership
    • Report Writing
    • Training
  • Ensure commitments to customers are met through process, written communication, and phones
  • In depth understanding and knowledge of TASC's products, services, and processes:
    • Includes TASC operating systems associated with this position
    • Resources for others in Department
    • Training
  • Provide input and feedback to process and product management and improvement opportunities to ensure commitments to customers are met includes initiation and ownership of improvement opportunities
  • Actively identifies, initiates, owes, and participate in problem resolution and continuous improvement efforts:
    • Includes effective documentation and communication to appropriate parties, ensuring customer satisfaction
    • Demonstrate effective communication between shifts
  • Operate within TASC's guidelines pursuant to the Employee Handbook and all Policies and Procedures
  • Assist Supervisor in tracking all process and activities within Department. Perform additional duties as requested by Supervisor and/or Management
  • Financial impact ownership through processing
  • Assist in front line phone back up and system processing as needed or directed

Qualifications:
  • Education or equivalency to a high school diploma, post high school education, and/or classes outside of high school (preferred)
  • Minimum 3-year experience working in professional office environment (preferred)
