Senior Engineer


Target Enterprise, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Senior Engineer at our offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Senior Engineer is responsible for advising the business on technical design activities to ensure application performance, stability and supportability of, leveraging the understanding of how the business uses technology. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 36 months of demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) Experience in DevOps practices, monitoring solutions, alerting, logging and security; (2) Utilizing, leveraging, and applying programming concepts; (3) Collaborating with applications and business teams to define and implement consistent technical build, implementation and support processes, engaging and communicating with senior leadership on key issues and initiatives; (4) Resolving operational, infrastructure and application incidents, triaging issues and restoring the service, providing root cause and long term solution for critical production applications and systems; and (5) Utilizing programming languages, tools and technologies including Windows, Unix platform, C#, Service Now, Source code versioning tool, enterprise monitoring tools, Splunk, Graphite and scripting.
