Senior Digital Marketing Manager

We are looking for a data-driven marketer to help build and execute our consumer marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for driving user adoption of our product across markets and building a playbook for driving engagement through digital channels such as email, push notifications, loyalty programs, in-app marketing, and retargeting. The ideal candidate should have a passion for the customer experience with an analytical and creative approach.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze Tapingo’s funnel from registration to purchase and repeat usage in order to identify opportunities and segment our customers
  • Help build our lifecycle marketing strategy using drip or trigger campaigns, and loyalty programs - spanning acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention
  • Develop marketing campaigns, collaborate on asset creation, and drive execution including optimization and tracking of results
  • Create messaging that aligns with the goal of the marketing communication and in the larger strategy
  • Execute email, push, and in-app marketing for our local markets and optimize effectiveness of campaigns through targeting, creative, and messaging
  • Own reporting for marketing funnel performance, including attribution, ROI, retention, and forecasting
  • A/B test discount and incentive promotion strategies to determine effectiveness and impact on KPI’s
  • Drive acquisition of new users through marketing channels including, but not limited to Facebook/Instagram, Google Adwords, video, and other media
  • Stay abreast of mobile trends to identify new marketing opportunities
  • Identify scalable growth marketing strategies as Tapingo continues to expand into new markets

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a consumer digital marketing capacity, experience in mobile apps and e-commerce a plus
  • Experience with email marketing, marketing automation, or CRM
  • Experience and autonomy in translating a brand’s narrative into content and copy for one-off and programmatic marketing campaigns as well as life cycle
  • Experience working with mobile ad networks and track record of managing a paid budget
  • Strong analytical skills with track record of translating numbers into effective marketing campaigns, familiarity with cohort analysis and LTV
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; basic proficiency with SQL preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Experience working directly with product and engineering
  • Highly detail oriented and superior project management skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
