Product Manager

Tapingo is a market leader in mobile food ordering, which competes with big names like UberEats, GrubHub and Doordash. We focus on the unique though large space of US college campuses, where we unquestionably dominate the market, and we are growing like crazy. With our addictive service, we allow our users to stop waiting in lines, and order food ahead from a local set of merchants - on and off campus. Students lead time-constrained lives on campus, and we allow them to regain control of their time, by making food simple as it should be - either by ordering for pickup, or having food be delivered to them. This focus has positioned us as the #1 food pickup service in the states in terms of volume.

With a new product line that is gaining massive traction, the Tapingo experience and ecosystem is affecting the lives of a substantial portion of US students.

As a Product Manager at Tapingo you'll get to lead the efforts to build a great product for our users, our merchants, and our partners. You'll lead ideas from inception, through planning and design, building, measuring and iterating - all with a goal of creating a "can't live without it" product for everyone involved. You will work with our biggest accounts to build unique and deep understanding of market needs and opportunities, and create products pleases our customers and leave competition far behind. You will also be working with one of the most success driven, ass kicking ninja-neering team in the industry.

The position requires frequent travel between the engineering team in Tel Aviv, our headquarters in San Francisco, and our customers all across the US. You will be based out of the Tel Aviv office.


  • 5+ years experience in the software industry as either an engineer or a product manager.
  • 2+ years experience as a product manager.
  • Experience with Agile product process and tools.
  • Leadership experience with a can do attitude, and an innovative spirit.
  • Quality driven, with a knack for user experience.
  • English at a native speaker's level.


  • Experience with SQL and Python.
  • Experience with high volume distributed systems.
