DevOps Engineer

As a Devops Engineer at Tapingo you will be responsible to design, build and scale complex devops platforms using the latest tools and technologies to support our distributed system serving millions of users and processing hundreds of millions of dollars across large number of disciplines.
You'll help manage build and scale our CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, configuration management systems and help shape our cloud infrastructure.

You will be working closely with product teams, understand their needs and have a direct impact on the design and execution process with high level of quality.
Above all, your work will have an immediate impact the way people experience local commerce.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps engineer.
  • Proficient in Linux and AWS.
  • Experience with Docker, Ansible or Puppet.
  • Proven development experience in any language (python is a big bonus). 
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and methodology.
  • Experienced with microservices architecture.
  • Scripting super-powers, monitoring systems knowledge, security best-practices.

  • Advantages:
  • Working with K8S/Docker Swarm/Mesos.
  • Experience working with big data production systems such as Kafka, Redshift, Hadoop, Spark, ELK and etc.
  • Experience with web operation, architecture design, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • Monitoring tools (Sensu, Nagios/Icinga, Graphite, Kibana, New relic)
