Sr. Manager, International Benefits

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Senior Manager, International Benefits, is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in a newly created position that supports over 4,000 employees worldwide at a forward-thinking, highly successful interactive entertainment company. This hands-on role is the lead benefits position for the company outside of North America, and the position is both strategic and operational. This position can sit in New York or Windsor, UK.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for overseeing the operations of all benefits programs, with the support from local HR partners, across all international territories (except for North America), including those in the UK, India, Spain, China, Canada, Czech Republic, Singapore, Germany, Korea, France, Australia, Netherlands, Japan, Hungary, Switzerland, Taiwan, and New Zealand
    • Manage broker and other vendor relationships
    • Oversee contract and policy renewals
    • Benchmark plans and programs to ensure they are competitive, cost-effective, and in keeping with what is customary in each region
    • Monitor trends in employee requests for new benefits and design changes
    • Provide Benefits Director with strategic recommendations on program design and delivery
    • Lead and manage RFP process during searches for new vendors
    • Manage the implementation of new benefit programs, vendors and processes
    • Oversee the development and delivery of employee communications
    • Develop, present and manage international benefits program budget
    • Provide financial reporting to key stakeholders, e.g., studio heads, VPs of HR for labels, local controllers, and Finance
    • Resolve benefits program issues escalated by local HR teams
    • Identify opportunities to harmonize and leverage benefits across labels and regions
    • Work with legal to ensure compliance with all local regulations
  • Assist with North America benefits programs as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 9 years of experience in a related field, a minimum of 5 years of which managing international benefits programs including pension, medical, dental, vision, wellbeing, EAP, life, disability, business travel accident, leave and time off policies, back-up childcare, fitness allowance, meal allowance, commuter benefits, company car, and employee referral schemes
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements, regulations governing benefit plans and programs, and what offerings are customary in UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Benelux, Spain, Hungary, Czech Republic, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, and India
  • Understanding of and sensitivity to cultural and regional differences
  • Ability to travel when needed
  • Exceptional high-touch customer service and follow-up skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and vendor management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and take ownership of keeping track of and closing out open items.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and manage several complex projects at once. Project management experience is a plus.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work well in a matrix environment
  • High level of proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HRIS - experience with Workday is a plus
  • CIPD qualification desired if position is filled in the UK
