About the Job:

Taco Bell is seeking a Product Manager - Front of House (FOH) Innovation to drive innovation across a diverse set of products within the FOH portfolio.  An eye for detail and the ability to spot opportunities & synergies across products is necessary to support customer and team member needs in Point-of-Sale technology and Kitchen Display/Management Systems. This role requires comfort in both product manager and project manager capacity.  The ideal candidate can effectively communicate to and influence a wide range of stakeholders including cross functional team, franchisees and vendor partners. 

The Day-to-Day:

  • Drive vision and strategy across net new FOH products and workstreams
  • Lead discovery on new projects
  • Develop roadmap aligned with business needs and technical capabilities
  • Perform product discovery, understanding problems to solve, and defining new capabilities to add to the product backlog
  • Lead proof of concepts to determine viable solutions
  • Collaborate with other product teams where product capabilities overlap to ensure seamless solutions
  • Communicate program progress and issues/risks to leadership and stakeholders
  • Build cross-functional partnerships to ensure that projects align with evolving organizational standards for architecture, security, and portfolio standards/methodologies
  • Manage vendor relationships & engage on new technologies that could be leveraged

Is This You?

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Proven ability to lead a combination of direct and virtual technology team members in a collaborative environment
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively run product team meetings   
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and build strategic partnerships
  • Solid planning, financial management, and organizational strategy
  • Experience building and executing a strategic roadmap of capabilities and related initiatives in areas of responsibility
  • A mind-set towards innovation through a quick test, learn, adapt approach
  • Experience in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), retail, and/or multiunit chain/franchise environment a plus
