About the Job:

Taco Bell is seeking to add a Business Intelligence Manager to manage a BI team centered around providing insights and business decision-making. This leader will be responsible for managing the strategic design and maintenance of the business intelligence applications. The right candidate has a growth mindset, technical expertise in BI tools, and hands-on experience in creating visualizations, performance tuning, & data-driven insights.  

The Day-to-Day:

  • Acts as the subject matter expert of business intelligence applications, visualizations, and dashboards to drive insightful takeaways. 
  • Drive innovation, automation, and optimization to ensure deliverables at the highest quality. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs, create the roadmap, and manage from concept to delivery. 
  • Directly manage a team and coach, mentor, and prioritize their work scope. 
  • Provides analysis to support data-driven strategies and tactics development. 
  • Optimize the reporting system for performance with an awareness of the data structure and data lineage components to accomplish delivering a responsive system. 
  • Create data literacy programs/training, and build a BI user community across the enterprise. 

Is This You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline; or equivalent years of experience  
  • At least 5+ years of experience in BI/Analytics with at least 3+ years of experience managing a team 
  • Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, MicroStrategy, Yellowfin, Tableau, or Qlik. 
  • Proven track record acting as a BI leader to establish standards & best practices 
  • Strong SQL skills, familiar with complex functions, and capable of working with large datasets. 
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Salary Range: $115,600 to $164,780 annually + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefits
