About the Job:

The IT Security Architect is part of the Taco Bell Cyber Security Team and will be assisting with architecture implementation and support of a comprehensive security program that will help safeguard our iconic brand. 

The Day-to-Day:

  • In cooperation with business and technology stakeholders, gather requirements, design, and deliver security architecture to support business efforts
  • Define and deliver security reference architecture in conjunction with security and engineering teams
  • Work with 3rd parties, partners, and franchisees to ensure adherence to security best practices
  • Create and administer processes, policies, and requirements that will enable Taco Bell to maintain a strong and secure online presence
  • Assist with the security audits of various types of environments 
  • Review contract agreements for security preparedness 
  • Keep abreast of changes to security best practices
  • Run risk assessments, forensics, prioritization and remediation on security events
  • Train and mentor security staff
  • Other duties as requested
Is This You?
  • 5+ years’ experience as an information security engineer, architect, or manager
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering or related discipline preferred
  • Demonstrated experience designing and building security architecture
  • Ability to align security architecture with business requirements and functions
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with technical and non-technical resources
  • Experience with integration of enterprise security solutions such as WAF, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM
  • Strong experience in cloud security, either AWS or MS Azure
  • Security auditing and frameworks knowledge (PCI, ISO27001, NIST, etc)
  • Knowledge of database, application, and web server security
  • Experience scripting in one or more relevant languages (JSON, Python, bash, etc.)
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Desired experience in multi-unit retail or restaurant, especially franchise
  • Desired Security Certifications such as: Cisco CCNA/CCNP Security, Fortinet FCNSP/FCNSA, AWS-ASA, MCSA, CISSP, ECSA, or OSCP preferred
