About the Job:

The Production Services Lead is a hands-on role focused on technical troubleshooting and leading the IT Production Support team supporting the Menu Middleware platform. Driving the impact across the Taco Bell business by maintaining the stability and reliability of the menu operations. With this role, the opportunities are endless: work with a highly motivated cross-functional team of IT professionals on cutting-edge technologies like AWS, including databases, data transformation tools, EC2, serverless, etc. The role responsibilities will directly impact restaurant operations and customer experience. The Production Support Lead role will report to the Technical Product Manager and collaborate with a team of platform developers and quality engineers from various functions within Taco Bell.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Hands-on technical troubleshooting, identifying root cause and propose technical improvements
  • Lead and guide onshore and offshore Production Services teams during troubleshooting
  • Lead collaborations with Data Management and QA to setup Menu Experiences and identify process improvements
  • Resolve incidents and execute/manage Production Verification Testing after deployments
  • Maintain and keep documentation up to date and report KPIs to management

Is This You?

  • Passionate about support, troubleshooting, and technology with a high level of understanding of system design and integrations
  • SQL knowledge (Required); at least 1 year of SQL experience with an emphasis on building queries, joining multiple tables, and understanding database concepts
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in Computer Science, equivalent technical certifications, or similar technical background.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in a leadership position in a support field or similar technical role
  • AWS, Python, Bash scripting, and PowerShell scripting experience is a plus
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, be proactive, work with cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively

Salary Range: $91,500 to $130,570 annually + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefits
