Taboola’s Engineering Team builds high-scale, web and mobile e-commerce applications that run non-stop around the globe. We work in small collaborative teams to architect massively scalable and reliable systems.

Taboola is looking for an exceptionally talented, intelligent and driven iOS Developer interested in pursuing challenging assignments in a fast paced, results oriented start up.

Responsibilities:

  • Help develop and maintain Taboola’s native SDK.
  • Development of highly scalable, highly performant solutions, which serve billions of recommendations per day.
  • Work closely with Product to reach an optimal technological solution

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in native iOS applications development
  • Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc. Up to date with iOS new features and components.
  • Experience in threading and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to backend services
  • Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
  • Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines

Bonus Points

  • Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred
  • Published applications on the App Store.
  • Experience with Android development
  • Knowledge in Javascript
