Description
Provide security support to System High Corporation to include a wide variety of responsible and confidential administrative, analytical, and research duties. Will provide security support to corporate office and System High customers.

The Administrative Security Officer duties include, but not limited to:

Security Processing:

  • Responsible for maintaining company personnel security databases

  • Maintain company JPAS records

  • Responsible for submitting and managing VARs

  • Responsible for assisting employees with e-QIP and SF86 review and submission

  • Works closely with the FSO on the administration of employees' initial security indoctrinations, briefings and debriefings

  • Assist the FSO with physical security duties including, but are not limited to: SCIF/SAPF combos, access control, alarm accesses, and semi-annual testing with vendor

  • Assist the FSO on the organization of office security operations

  • Contributes to the preparation of presentations, proposals and quotes as needed for security related matters

  • Assist with the development of security SOPs, SPPs, and FFCs

  • Supports the FSO in monitoring company security policies and procedures to include inspections with DSS, DoD and IC customers.

    Customer Support:

  • Act as an alternate liaison with outside agencies. Responds quickly and effectively implementing corrective action as required

  • This position provides additional support to direct customers on a contract basis, generally related to personnel security.

    Proposal Support:

  • This position also provides support during Government proposal submissions. To include, but not limited to Security Volume responsibilities, Security cross-reference matrixes, etc.

    Position Requirements
    Required Skills: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

  • PERSEC experience is highly desirable

  • Desired knowledge of the following security disciplines: OPSEC, COMSEC, Special Access Programs, personnel security, training, classification management, information systems security, document accountability, and physical security.

  • Desired knowledgeable of the NISPOM, NISPOM Supplements, ICD 503, ICD 705, ICD 704, DoDM 5205.07 Vol 1-4, Special Access Programs, JAFAN, the NISP.

  • Understanding of JPAS, Scattered Castles, Apics, and/or other databases.

  • Knowledge of the eQIP and the process and investigation requirements

  • Ability to constructively engage and resolve challenging situations

  • Attention to detail and strong writing skills are desired.

  • Available to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand

  • Independent self-starter, proactive and professional assertive

  • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Superior verbal/written skills and presentation skills

  • Ability to multitask

    Clearance:

  • TS/SCI Required.

  • Must be willing to undergo a polygraph.

    Years of Experience/Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of security experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related preferred

    Travel:

  • Less than 10% annual CONUS travel
