Job Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced ASIC validation engineer to lead the efforts for new product validation and characterization. The candidate will work closely with the design, validation and test engineering teams throughout the NPI cycle. Position requires in depth technical expertise in testing SerDes and other high speed interfaces. Strong communications and presentation skills are required.

  • Develop validation and characterization test plans
  • Lead debug, validation, and characterization efforts
  • Drive and execute different CTS compliance tests for DP1.2, DP1.4, HDMI 1.4b and HDMI2.0
  • Develop validation and characterization hardware.
  • Prepare and present validation and characterization reports
  • Automate bench test setups

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in EE is required.
  • MSEE is preferred
  • +3 years of experience as an ASIC validation engineer
  • Strong knowledge of Serdes test fundamentals and jitter concepts.
  • Experience with bench test automation and automation tools such as Labview and Python
  • Strong expertise with bench test setups and instruments such as high speed digital scopes, BER tester, logic analyzers and arbitrary waveform generators.
  • Strong knowledge of signal integrity concepts and high speed PCB design and layout guidelines and ability to create new design schematics
