Job Responsiblities:

Provide technical support and problem resolution to Field Engineering team and customers on on Synaptics Fax and Modem products.

Develop software and hardware where necessary to test, evaluate, or demonstrate products

Review and debug customer board designs.

Bench qualification of product designs and modem devices

Provide training on products to the field engineering team and customers.

Create documentaton and application notes

Evaluate and provide input for new products or new revisions of products, interface with customer regarding issues or new features, and provide feedback to Engineering with suggestions and ideas.

Interfacing with field engineers and customers on a regular basis

Skills:

Board level hardware debugging

Analog and Digital board level design experience

EMC and safety circuit design experience

Python programming language experience desired

Good verbal and written technical communication

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering Discipline

3-4 years of experience in applications engineering role
