SXSW EDU Digital Media Internship

Role Description

The SXSW EDU Team is seeking a self-motivated digital marketing intern for the 2018 SXSW EDU Conference & Festival. SXSW EDU cultivates and empowers a community of engaged stakeholders to advance teaching and learning.

This intern will assist in the execution of various daily tasks in multiple digital channels including website, social media, advertising, video and search marketing. The intern will be responsible for weekly learning projects, including developing and executing blogging and social media campaigns, researching the latest related trends and copy editing marketing content. Data entry and administrative tasks related to SXSW EDU marketing will be required. This position will provide a wide range of experience in regards to the production and promotion of a large scale event.

Candidates should:

This position runs August 2017 – March 2018. A time commitment of 10-20 hours a week with full-time availability during the week of SXSW EDU, March 5-8 and SXSWeek, March 9-18, is required.
