Job Description

The HCIS/Workday Senior Analyst - Integrations is a key contributor to our mission of driving innovation across the organization and is an internal consultant to Success Academies business partners proactively making recommendations regarding business issues and enhancements. This role will work with the HCIS team and their business partners, and is responsible for partnering with internal and external customers and vendors to elicit requirements, design, develop, test, and deploy integrations to streamline and enhance integrations and/or business processes, to create efficiencies, and increase data integrity. This role will also provide day-to-day integration support; is the primary owner for all integration and security requests; and configures and deploys reports on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities

Integration Development

  • Partner with internal and external customers and vendors to elicit requirements, design, develop, test, and deploy integrations to streamline and enhance integrations and/or business processes, to create efficiencies, and enhance data integrity. Utilize best practices and standards in creating solutions.
  • Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application or other HCIS systems with external applications where the analysis of the situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks/issues and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary.
  • Actively participate in training, customer groups, and/or networking events to identify best practices and stay current with HCIS and data analytics trends.

Support & Training

  • Provide support to HCIS team members, internal business partners, and end users related to integration support issues, release testing, utilizing best practices, and answering inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Provide training to the respective functional areas on integration processes, in order to ensure understanding, and accurate maintenance of all integrations and any related error reports.

Security, Reporting, and Other Duties

  • Primary owner for integration and security requests and is responsible to lead, test, and implement changes based on business needs for the enterprise.
  • Creates and maintains documentation related to integrations, security, and reporting.
  • Maintain, configure and deploy reports on an as-needed basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in developing and maintaining Workday integrations and security including experience with Workday's Integration Framework (EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, Studio)
  • Experience creating and maintaining data security- Encryption, ISU/ISSG's
  • Participates in training and development activities to keep abreast of current trends and best practices. Incorporates these best practices into designs.
  • Strong functional understanding of core HR business terminology, processes and practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field and experience or equivalent work experience with Workday report writer and dashboards preferred.
  • Demonstrated customer focus and able to build relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while responding with a sense of urgency to immediate needs.
  • Highly analytical, with strong problem solving and organizational skills including the ability to analyze large datasets, and proactively communicate insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and initiative required, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively manage deadlines.
  • Proficient in Google applications (docs, sheets, etc.) or Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
