Director of College Access and Persistence

Success Academy - NYC's largest and highest-performing charter school network - is seeking a Director of College Access and Persistence for immediate hire. This position will initially be temporary but could lead to a permanent appointment.  
Since opening our first Harlem school in 2006, Success has swiftly grown to 46 schools, serving 16,000 kids from Bed-Stuy to the Bronx.
​Success will graduate its first senior class in June 2018. We are committed to sending 100 % of our scholars to competitive four-year colleges and to ensuring that our scholars thrive on campus, graduate in four years, all while contributing to the richness of the chosen institution.
Our Director of College Access and Persistence will be a critical thought leader and talent manager. S/he will manage the college guidance department at our flagship high school in midtown Manhattan. S/he will also design and oversee all network-wide college programming. Our ideal candidate has experience in and a deep understanding of the evolving admissions landscape. S/he is passionate about college access and completion for low-income, first-generation students. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
