Subaru Financial Group Intern - Paid Internship

Course of Study

Bachelor's degree with major in Business Management, Finance & Accounting, or Operations

Term

  • 1 year in length [37.5 hours per week during the summer; 20-25 hours per week during school year]
  • Internship to begin in May


Qualifications
  • Junior (or a Senior planning to pursue a Master's Degree in the fall)
  • Must be an active student for the entire length of internship
  • Previous internship or work experience preferred
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • International students may require special work authorization to work a one-year internship. Speak with your International Students Office/Advisor at your institution before applying.


Skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills


Responsibilities

Support the SOA sales effort in various ways that includes a rotation with the following service groups:

Subaru of America Remarketing
  • Release vehicle titles to buyers on sold vehicles
  • Maintain inventory databases (auction and vehicles under SOA control)
  • Reconcile transportation billings
  • Prepare auction schedules and announcements

Subaru Acceptance Corporation
  • Assist in weekly collection of past due service loaner payoffs
  • Work with spreadsheet analytical tools to monitor retailer financial creditworthiness

Guaranteed Trade-In Program
  • Assign and monitor vehicles for inspection from retailer buyback packages
  • Bill inspection fees to retailer via Subaru Parts Statement

Subaru Service Loaner Program
  • Reconcile incentive payments to retailers
  • Monitor exceptions in WebDrive and communicate to region and field staff as appropriate

Subaru Leasing Corporation
  • Registration renewals
  • Coordinate insurance claim information with Risk Management
