Digital Marketing Intern - Paid Internship

Course of Study

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a major in Marketing or MBA with a concentration in Marketing

Term

  • 1 year in length [37.5 hours per week during the summer; 25 hours per week during school year]
  • Internship to begin in May


Qualifications
  • Junior (or a Senior planning to pursue a Master's Degree in the fall)
  • Must be an active student for the entire length of internship
  • Curriculum and/or work experience portray a dedication to the pursuit of a marketing career
  • International students may require special work authorization to work a one-year internship. Speak with your International Students Office/Advisor at your institution before applying.


Skills
  • Strong written communications, presentation, and customer-service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills
  • Internet technical understanding


Responsibilities
  • Supporting projects related to creative concept development and strategic planning
  • Supporting professionals and managers in the digital marketing area and will occasionally be required to manage projects independently and interact with partner agencies
  • Managing our online brand protection with vendor
  • Weekly testing of brand website to ensure that all content is up-to-date and accurate
  • Working closely with partner agencies and Subaru IT and Marketing teams to address and resolve technical and business issues
  • Assisting with Subaru model launches and updates for the upcoming model year


Job Description

This position will provide experience and exposure to the Marketing Communications team at Subaru specifically in the area of Digital Marketing. You will have exposure to daily departmental operations by supporting projects, participating in planning and executing meetings, and occasionally managing projects for various other Marketing groups.
