This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. As a member of the Regional engineering team, you will be focused on Testing and Automation of the feature implementation in the CT based application.The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continued reliability and functionality of our medical device software products, complying with regulatory standards, and solving technical issues as part of sustenance team.This position reports to Manager - R&D.

What you will do:
• Candidate will be responsible for V&V of CT based application and writing manual/automated tests against it.
• Develop test procedures, scripts & documents for Medical devices; and review the test artifacts developed by team members for compliance to Stryker quality standards.
• Continuously monitor and maintain the performance and reliability of existing medical device software products through analysis, debugging, and updates.
• Ensure that all software sustenance activities are in compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Lead the investigation and resolution of complex software issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs
• Interact closely with the Development and support team to articulate problems found and influence product design and functionality.
• Follow software engineering best practices utilizing the Agile development methodology.
• Collaborate across a dynamic geographically dispersed team.
• Understand Software and System requirements; Help with their review.
• Responsible for the documentation of test procedures and test forms as well as supporting documents.
What you need:
• Bachelor's/ Master's degree in: Electronics/ Computer Engineering or another engineering based software development degree.
• 8+ years of industry experience in embedded software testing.
• Strong knowledge of FDA and international regulatory requirements for medical device software
• Experience in Design Control for regulated products, software verification, and knowledge of applicable regulations (applicable regulations (e.g. ISO13485 and IEC 62304)
• Prior knowledge and experience in Python Programming skills.
• Experience with software configuration management and version control systems like Perforce, Github, Bitbucket.
• Excellent organizational (communication/ presentation) and documentation skills
• Strong aptitude and interest in system and software testing.
