Key responsibilities:
- As part of the project team, you will be responsible for the development of medical software for computer assisted trauma surgery.
- Your focus is on developing application software including backend, infrastructure, business logic and 3D visualization in NET/C#.
- You will also be working with developers from other teams within Stryker that we are sharing technology with.
- You will participate in labs, demos and meetings with surgeons to analyze customer needs and understand clinical procedures and design inputs.
- Furthermore, you will learn and apply R&D procedures for medical software, such as documentation, design controls, and risk management.
What are we looking for:
- You have successfully completed your studies in the field of computer science, software engineering, mathematics, electrical engineering or comparable.
- You have 3+ years of experience in software development with .NET C# or other programming languages like C++ or Java, ideally in a regulated environment.
- You have a good understanding and experience in implementing 3D visualization techniques, i.e., rendering frameworks and 3D transformations.
- Experience or interest in software architecture and 3D computer vision would be a plus.
- You are self-motivated, driven, reliable and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- A very good command of English and ideally good written and spoken German round off your profile.

Additional information
Thanks to our flexible working hours model, you will have the opportunity to work partially from the home office. A regular presence on site at our location in Freiburg should always be given to build sustainable relationships and maintain personal contact with colleagues as well as the departments.
