What You Will Do:
- You will independently design and implement complex systems including application software architecture and the design documentation for Endoscopy products.
- You will specialize in various technology domains and evaluate and select new technologies and new platforms.
- You will train and mentor engineers and work closely with peers to develop market leading software that meets customer and system requirements. You will apply the defined design practices including Agile methodology and use sound software engineering principles to ensure that the application software products are safe, robust and user friendly.
- You will ensure the established engineering practices be effective and efficient by monitoring the best industry practices and integrating them into the organization.
- Lead technical team members in research, design, development, modification, and evaluation of Endoscopy products.
- Apply advanced engineering theories, principles, and concepts across various products within business
- Translate user needs to design inputs/ specifications and produce system/architectural level layouts and platform designs.
- Mentor and influence other engineers in complex technical situations.
- Independent reviewer and advisor for the creation or refinement of engineering documentation.
- Design, implementation and testing of secure windows / cloud / web applications.
- Assist quality teams with the risk analysis and propose risk mitigation strategies.
- Serve as a cross-project interface to other software development teams.
- Collaborate with remote and local development teams.
- Assist Project Management teams with the Project planning and tracking.
- Maintain and Support existing applications.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's/Master degree in computer science or related field
- 10 -12 years of design and development of complex software systems.
- Experienced working on complex Azure cloud-based applications with at least 6 years of experience developing cloud based applications
- Experienced in research and development of cloud native applications, secure architecture and IoT infrastructure
- Experienced in design, development, and integration of REST / SOAP / Web APIs
- Hands-on experience in drafting High-level and Low-level architecture documents/UML diagrams
- Experienced in creating CI/CD pipelines on Jenkins/Bamboo/Azure DevOps
- Experienced in deploying machine learning models in a cloud infrastructure is a plus
- Rich experience with following Software Development tools:
- Backend: ASP.NET MVC, .NET, .NET Core, C#, Web/Rest API, Microservices, Windows Services
- Frontend: React.js, angular, vue.js
- Others: Entity Framework, GIT, Unit tests, PowerShell
- Knowledge of one or more third party tools like SonarCube, NUnit, NCover, and FxCop
- Hands on experience with multiple programming languages would be a plus
- Strong core computer science skills such as data structure design, architecture design, and algorithms
- Expert in Object-Oriented Analysis, designing and documenting software architecture
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in Agile, SDLC, capacity planning, cost estimations, DevOps, and Security
- Experience with a documented software development processes or familiarity with US FDA and ISO standards like IEC 62304, IEC 60601, 21CRF 820 is a plusGood understanding of HL7 and DICOM protocols is a plus
