THE ROLE:
Are you a finance analyst looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on business performance? We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Finance team in the role of Senior Finance Analyst.
As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Operations Business to achieve their financial objectives. This role has a focus on analysing the Logistics spend after implementing a new Transport Management System last year. Reporting directly to the Senior Commercial Manager - Operations, you will be responsible for business partnering with Operations (Supply Chain, Logistics), financial planning, P&L control, and providing ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making processes.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Financial controls through effective data analysis, reporting and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Business partnering Operations (Supply Chain, Logistics & Customer Experience)
- Review freight partner billing and sense check accuracy of costs and if they are in line with expectations.
- Establish sustainable reporting that helps provide visibility and understanding of key cost drivers within Logistics.
- Undertake detailed and thorough Logistics analysis and identify opportunities to aid efficiency and cost optimisation through evaluation of data.
- Complete Logistics month end reporting and analytics, identifying key areas of opportunity
- Support budget and forecasting process for Operations.
- Champion continuous improvement opportunities in Operations analytics to deliver insight to drive cost savings.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- CA or CPA Qualified (or in final modules near completion).
- Experience supporting Logistics & Supply Chain financials, ideally within FMCG industry.
- Excellent business partnering approach, strategies to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of PowerBi and Excel to create financial models.
- True team player mentality and desire to work collaboratively.
