Key Areas of Responsibility

The technical writer will work as a member of the Engineering Team to complete required Change Controls, Process Router updates and other process documentation as required.

  • Processing of Change Control Requests, Router updates and other process documentation updates for the support group.
  • Point of Contact for the Engineering Team Change Control process for day-to-day and in audits.
  • Transition into SME for document standards & documentation processes.
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance to ECR/ECN/CAs timelines.
  • Under direction, will draft up the required specifications/procedures.
  • Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Knowledge Skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to liaise internally and with relevant personnel in other sites.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal assistance, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills, preferable experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Good working knowledge of Electronic Data Management Systems e.g. OnePLM, AS400, MES etc. preferable.
  • Experience working with documentation systems and possess a good knowledge of GMP and ISO90001/EN46001 desirable.
  • Previous experience of working in an FDA regulated manufacturing environment an advantage.
  • AutoCAD & Creo experience an advantage.
