The Job's Mission:

As Sales Representative, you will help us deliver on our mission of making healthcare better by promoting and selling Stryker's Trauma product portfolio, covering the Oost- en West-Vlaanderen territory.

We are looking for a team player who is results- and service-oriented, who has a passion for healthcare. For our Sales professionals, this is not just a job: it is an opportunity to truly make an impact, develop further and win together as part of a team.

Your key responsibilities:

  • In your new role, you will start with a familiarization phase with product trainings to learn about the product portfolio and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will identify, analyze and prospect new customers, while providing ongoing service to existing customers.
  • You will understand the needs of our customers, implement strategies in the sales process and conduct negotiations including with surgeons, hospital administration and purchasing departments.
  • With the product knowledge you have built up, you advise and train medical and surgical professionals on its use during demonstrations. You will also provide clinical support in the operating theater when needed.
  • You will interact with decision-making units and be a reliable partner for our customers throughout the sales process.
  • You will participate in congresses, seminars and business meetings in order to identify potential new customers and to expand your knowledge for customer contact.

What are we looking for?

  • You already possess sales experience, preferably within medical devices or related industries like pharmaceutical.
  • You hold a diploma/degree, preferably in related fields such as physiotherapy, healthcare, business administration, or technical career (paramedics, nursing, etc.).
  • Orthopedics/Anatomy knowledge is not mandatory, but it is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in Dutch and English is required.
  • You hold a valid driver's license as this position involves regular customer visits in the region.
