We are now seeking an innovative & organised Reimbursement Lead to be responsible for developing and executing on strategies which maximise reimbursement opportunities for Stryker.

This role requires someone with a broad knowledge and understanding of the regulatory and legal frameworks, regulatory requirements, legislation, processes and procedures.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Provide leadership in the development, planning and execution of strategic reimbursement strategies, health economics and market access for Stryker designed to maximize device commercialization
- Assessment of Health Economic and Clinical data to drive market access opportunities for Stryker including leading Stryker's Health Economics Focus Group to create market access resources/opportunities.
- Ability to articulate a thorough understanding of the commercial and government payor landscape including coverage policies and payment processes.
- Build a strategic relationship and serve as a supporting role to Stryker's aligned business partners including sales, marketing, government affairs, and medical/clinical affairs.
- Assist Stryker's Regional and Territory Sales Managers in the development, implementation, and managements of strategic initiatives within geography.
- Utilize Healthcare data i.e. IHPA and AIHW, to create health economic studies/summaries/projects associated with Stryker products.
- Keep abreast of changes and reform in the health economic/market access space and manage responses to Government Consultations to advocate Stryker's strategy
- External Liaison where relevant, with the Department of Health Prostheses List Secretariat, Clinical Advisory Groups (CAG's) and Prostheses List Advisory Committee to influence Stryker's Reimbursement applications.
- Active involvement with the MTAA Committees/working groups as they relate to market access/reimbursement for the MedTech Industry.
Skills required:
- Excellent relationship & influencing skills to effectively build relationships with key customers, stakeholders and members of Government departments.
- Thorough understanding of the commercial and government payor landscape
- Demonstrated success in the analysis and interpretation of Government documentation and technical writing
Experience & qualifications
- Previous experience (>5 years) within the MedTech industry within Reimbursement/Health Economics/Government Affairs/Market Access
- Tertiary qualifications such as an undergraduate science or engineering degree or equivalent.
