As a Product Manager for Stryker's Sports Medicine business, you will set the direction for the portfolio in Canada. You will be responsible for completing an annual marketing plan, launching products, and training both our sales team and surgeons. Sports Medicine one of Stryker's fastest growing portfolios, with a robust product pipeline. In this role, you will work with a high performing team, and customers across Canada, who dedicate every day to serving their patients.

What you will do

  • Assesses the impact of competitive dynamics and points of parity / points of difference through competitive analysis
  • Understand key competitors and their relative strengths/weaknesses and maintain networks of people and resources for obtaining competitive information
  • Explain different product features to different customers as appropriate to their needs
  • Play a role in developing key strategy documents: strategic plan, annual marketing plan, product launch plans
  • Understand what customers value and how they perceive different attributes of the product or portfolio
  • Create marketing strategies to understand, develop, and enhance the relationship between the customer and the product or portfolio
  • Synthesize market trends and make recommendations on areas of strategic focus
  • Develop new strategies, sales tools, and communication plans for the product or portfolio
  • Apply clinical knowledge in combination with technical knowledge to educate and articulate value
  • Work closely with sales training/sales enablement to set the sales training strategy for the product or portfolio
  • Analyze customer satisfaction to assess trends in customer engagement, and incorporates trends into strategic planning
  • Supports the creation of Project Charters, CERs, and Business Case Financial Models as applicable

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years of work experience required
  • MBA preferred
  • 2+ years medical device or marketing experience preferred
