The Segmentation team in Stryker transforms patients' medical images to 3D digital models that are used for pre-surgical planning of their orthopaedics procedures. Pre-surgical planning plays a critical role in improving the surgery outcome of patients, so come join us in this role and discover the part you can play in making healthcare better!
Key Responsibilities
- Apply technical solutions to transform 2D CT scan images to 3D digital bone models for use in medical procedures involving robotic surgery
- Create pre-operative Surgical Plans for Total Hip and Total Knee Arthroplasty
- Review CT segmentations and Surgical Plans for accuracy of anatomical landmark selection, and implant sizing and positioning
- Respond to and provide direct customer feedback and requests
- Respond to all first level technical enquiries
- Document all deliverables according to prescribed methods and quality procedures to deliver consistent output
- Commitment to the quality management system and compliance to our quality standards
- Work with US team on segmentation issues resolution
Requirements
- Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Engineering or other Science majors - fresh graduates welcome to apply
- Strong ability in learning software and applications usage
- Basic understanding of 2D and 3D imaging software (such as Photoshop or Illustrator) would be a strong advantage
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete tasks on time
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work well in a team oriented environment
- Interest in the medical device industry
