What You Will Do
The Lead Analyst, Material Master Data within the Instruments MDM team is responsible for executing a structured approach to the collection, creation, and maintenance of material master data. They will be an SAP Power User in the Master Data Governance (MDG) application, SAP HANA ERP, and drive strategy across the supply chain on how to move products most efficiently and effectively to our customers.
1. Lead/participate in MDM projects as assigned
- Project manager for end to end system setup providing strategy across the NPD, M&A, and PT projects to ensure we can forecast, supply plan, procure, inventory, sell, ship, service, and pay our reps
- Partner with other SAP power users across global community to identify and resolve data gaps, issues within current SAP functionality, and support in the enhancement
- May include Merger & Acquisition and/or Global Program support
2. Approve Material Data Requests
- Review and approve SAP MDG change requests to ensure accurate data entry of item master data attributes
- Manage data requests in support of business processes
- Drive excellence and ensure continuous improvement in the MDM space
3. Ensure Material Master Data Effectiveness
- Proficient in the material master domain
- Critical thinking skillet - ability to take information from different areas and determine a strategy
- Provide input to the development of MDM data collection templates
- Manage relationships with cross functional partners to ensure clear understanding of organizational requirements that are then managed in concert with MDM
- Develop and maintain relationships with business and IS resources to improve data management processes
- Serve as a business contact for material master related topics while identifying solutions to business challenges
- Identify opportunities to gain efficiencies, automate, and improve data quality
- Full review for each request from the business to ensure accurate data changes
- Work with the Data Governance Office to enforce global policies, standards, and processes
- Assist in the development and deployment of SAP training including knowledge layer documents and work instructions
- Support implementation of MDM vision and strategies for their domain
- Lead and own the MDM Power BI report. Consult with the business on opportunities for additional reports to provide them the information they need to make strategic decisions
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, information systems, business administration, computer science, finance, accounting, or statistics required
- 4+ years of relevant experince
- ERP experience required
- SAP experience preferred
- MDM experience preferred
- Demonstrated expertise with common software platforms required (i.e. Excel)
- Power BI experience preferred
The desired candidate would live within a reasonable commuting distance from a major US Stryker location (Kalamazoo, MI / Mahwah, NJ / Flower Mound, TX).
$75,300 - 156,900 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
