Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Generate and present daily / weekly / monthly reports and metrics as appropriate.
- Proactively identify, report and manage supply constraints within the end-to-end franchise Supply Chain which will impact on customer service levels.
- Understand and maintain the minimum necessary inventory and report when required on the status of inventory levels for assigned franchise(s) against inventory targets.
- Understand, identify and manage safety stock levels as part of meeting customer needs in an end-2-end manner through collaboration with the various supply chain partners.
- Global reach connecting with US, Europe and International Divisions on Supply related events thereby assuring consistent, coherent and singular global franchise view.
- Prepare, present, analyze, outlook (projections, including annual budget view) and story all supply related events, go to person for franchise facing leader
- Confirm supply commitment against NRP confirmation to franchise in IBP, highlight capacity constraints
- Decide what to build, where to build, when to build on behalf of RHQ
- Manage special events (Manufacturing transfer, regulatory events, ad hoc events ie un-forecasted large orders, priority orders etc.).
- Communicate and collaborate with Divisions and LRD's to deliver E2E outcomes, building a franchise facing supply chain capability.
- Optimizing distribution capacity requirements through planning and inventory optimizing.
- Manage launches in coordination with R&D/AO/PLCM.
- Capacity Planning per plant and in line with COE strategy
- Translate NRP to supply plan per plant
- Long term capacity investment plan per plant
- Prepare, Run and chair the monthly supply chain planning meeting with division together with franchise facing ONV leader.
- Confirm supply commitment against NRP confirmation to franchise in IBP call
- Customer service and order availabilities and BO communication to franchise, ONV leadership and IBP.
- Financial COGS projection for finance.
- PLCM execution (post CTG)
- Develop and maintain a close working relationship with Stryker ONV entities
- Develop and maintain a close working relationship with Stryker divisions
- Assure plants have standardized in ways of working regarding planning by adopting the process framework as set by the planning operational excellence leader.
- Develop a lean planning culture and drive towards meaningful data and analytics
- Drive leadership planning awareness, training and change management
Qualifications/ Work Experience Required:
- Ability to see the big picture, distill strategic objectives into a concrete plan for execution, influence others to build consensus behind shared goals, challenge the status quo, initiate tough conversations, and promote a culture of innovation.
- Demonstrated quantitative and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of sales, marketing, portfolio management, supply, S&OP
- Excellent interpersonal communication, collaborative teamwork, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
- Build trusting relationships with Executive VP level at Stryker
- Demonstrated experience in presenting to and influencing executives.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex information and interconnected issues to clearly articulate the findings, obstacles, and solution.
- Highly proficient in stakeholder management and communications.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to challenge processes and use knowledge or trends to identify new solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and navigate complex interpersonal and political issues. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High proficiency in supply chain concepts (M2O, M2S, E2O, distribution channels, sales channels etc.)
- Familiar with FDA regulated medical device industry.
- Initiates, sponsors and implements change.
- Works cooperatively with others to produce innovative solutions.
- Working knowledge & computer skills in industry best planning suites (ie Kenaxis, Steelwedge, JDA, SAP, Oracle)
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Results, goals and measurement metrics oriented
- Have highest level of integrity in the successful completion of your work
- Works with a sense of urgency and attention to details at all times.
Education/ Special Training Required:
- Degree in a business or engineering discipline
- Minimum of 7+ years of Sales & Operations Planning and Supply Chain experience preferably in medical devices or other highly regulated environment.
