Leads the strategy and implementation of the customer and employee experience function. You must demonstrate the ability to develop, plan and deliver executive, sales and customer programs for one of the largest divisions within the company; manage and drive virtual and in-person program competencies within the meeting & events planning team; and be accountable for a consistent experience, quality, budget and timely delivery of 300+ global programs/events annually.

  • Strategize with senior executives to meet organizational goals and objectives through engagement initiatives and programs for the Endoscopy Division.
  • Manage team to effectively develop and implement programs, trade show presence and customer experiences across the Endoscopy Division that align with annual marketing plans and/or division priorities.
  • Lead large scale projects such as National Sales Meeting programs in North America (U.S., Canada, LatAm)
  • Partner with marketing and executive leadership to develop customer experiences that align with the business priorities and objectives.
  • Lead the planning and execution of major aspects of program management to include selecting sites, developing experience strategy, and building implementation plan.
  • Oversee the process, activities and resources necessary to carry out all team functions, including but not limited to the National Sales Meetings; Endoscopy Division Trade Show strategy and Customer Engagement events and Endoscopy's customer site visit protocol and employee experience across all division locations.
  • Partner with Legal and Risk management to ensure compliance with legal, health, insurance, and safety obligations.
  • Lead the team responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and evaluating 300+ meetings; conferences and events annually ranging from 5 to 2000 attendees. Including contract negotiation for cost savings and concessions.
  • Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality, working closely with the production and meeting management vendors.
  • Prepare and manage annual employee and customer experience program budget of $10M+.
  • Propose and execute cost control/reduction opportunities, identifying cost strategies in support of our cost transformation for growth.
  • Lead, manage and develop a staff of meeting professionals. Actively managing the performance of team members including writing and delivering performance appraisals and taking disciplinary action when warranted.
  • Provide strategic direction to the team to meet annual goals and objectives.
  • Manage meeting vendors for delivery of services to include production, entertainment, transportation, housing and security. Building and maintaining a consultative relationship with vendors and suppliers.
  • Project manage multiple cross-functional and divisional teams.
  • Engage in problem solving and consensus building in complex situations to implement custom oriented solutions.
  • Drive divisional projects to continuously improve all areas of team functions.
  • Ensure that brand identity, messaging and marketing communication strategy is infused in all organizational efforts.
  • Create a climate that cultivates imagination, new ideas and experimentation.
  • Proactively look for opportunities for collaboration within and across businesses/divisions.
  • Develop effective mechanisms for reviewing measurements and assessing progress.
  • Create a climate in which measurement of effectiveness is a standard practice.
  • Inspire trust and build followership.
