What You Will Do

  • Lead a team responsible for implementing changes and adjustments in the production lines to accommodate the manufacturing of new products. Successfully determine project scope, scale, resource & financial requirements for each new product.
  • Collaborate closely with the new product development team, translating their production needs into line modifications. Provide insights into new product development from a production perspective, ensuring alignment with plant requirements.
  • Establish and maintain direct communication with global plants, participating in benchmarking activities to understand challenges and solutions in various locations.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, resilience, and leadership skills within the team and cross-functional departments.
  • Act as a key liaison between the production area in the Tijuana plant and the research and development team. Also, serve as the primary point of contact for production, maintenance, and process departments.
  • Develop a new team, defining roles and responsibilities, and ensuring a seamless integration within the Tijuana leadership team. Avoid overlap of activities through clear delineation of responsibilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production lines, leveraging insights from global counterparts and ensuring alignment with the plant's strategic goals.
  • Provide direction to the team in complex or difficult situations, remove obstacles, assign appropriate resources and interface with other functions to assist with issue resolution.

What You Will Need

  • Previous experience in similar positions in New Product Implementation
  • Previous experience in leadership positions
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Advanced English skills required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Previous Experience in Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical or Aerospace industry
