E-COMMERCE/PEAPOD ASSISTANT DISTRIBUTION CENTER MANAGER

The E-Commerce/Peapod Assistant Distribution Center Manager will assist the E-Commerce/Peapod Distribution Center Manager in managing the operations of one of our on-line grocery shopping distribution centers.

Primary responsibilities:


Manage the operations of one our E-Commerce/Peapod distribution centers

Hiring, training, and managing our staff of order selectors and commercial truck drivers

Responsible for maintaining superior levels of customer service through employee training and quality control systems

Your goal is to deliver a superior on-line shopping experience for our customers.

Someone who is extremely focused on people development, labor relations, workplace and fleet safety, inventory control, delivery vehicle fleet maintenance, sales and profit performance, payroll, and business efficiencies

A candidate with the ability of managing crisis situations and multiple priorities and tasks

A candidate with a strong focus on customer service

Essential Skills

Education and Experience
• High School graduate (Bachelors Degree preferred)
• 1-3 years of supermarket retail experience
