PERISHABLE MANAGER

Job Description: The purpose of the Perishable Manager position is to have one person focus attention and be accountable for the daily operations of the Deli, Produce, Florist, Meat, Seafood, and Bake Shop Departments. This will allow the Store Manager to delegate daily perishable activities and free him/her up to manage people and interact with customers, etc. This will also allow the Product Specialist to concentrate from on developing people in the technical areas versus managing the daily product issues.
ROLE OF THE PERISHABLE MANAGER: The Perishable Manager will be held accountable for managing daily activities in the above mentioned departments which will include:

NON - PERISHABLE MANAGER
Job Description: The purpose of the Non - Perishable Manager position is to have one person focus attention and be accountable for the daily operations of the Grocery, General Merchandise, Health & Beauty Care, Frozen, and Dairy Departments. This will allow the Store Manager to delegate daily non- perishable activities and free him/her up to manage people and interact with customers, etc. This will also allow the Product Specialist to concentrate on developing people in the technical areas versus managing the daily operational and personnel issues.

CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER
Position Description: The Customer Service Manage will be responsible for recruitment, hiring, orientation, managing people development and maintaining diversity on the Front-End.
Primary responsibilities:
• Responsible for finding diverse candidates from community and within Stop & Shop to fill store's hiring needs
• Responsible for overseeing Front-end operations, Cash Office, and insuring highest level of customer service
• Manage store community and customer relations

Qualifications
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2+ years retail experience; store management experience required
Skills and Knowledge
• Knowledge of safe food handling
• Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills
• Exceptional interpersonal, planning and organizing, and leadership skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks and gain people's confidence
• Must be willing to travel within core market area
