Software Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Boston, Massachusetts): State Street Global Markets' FX Sales and Trading Desks engage in swap dealing activities in Foreign Exchange derivatives market. As a Foreign Exchange (FX) Swap Dealer, State Street must comply with global jurisdictional regulatory rules and reporting. The Software QA Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day management oversight of the software testing staff as well as all the testing actives and output associated with multi-jurisdictional FX Swap compliance data reporting. Specific responsibilities include: Develop and maintain test automation processes in alignment with the project and the organization's standards (i.e., governance, processes and tools); Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the long-term automation strategy and framework to increase the regression test suite and reduce regression timelines; Develop and maintain automation plans, frameworks, scripts, and metrics for functional, integration and regression testing; Run daily regression suits and analyze results; Defect management oversight by providing timely defect reporting, safekeeping and tracking through defect-life-cycle; Collect and effectively communicate test automation execution metrics; Participates in daily stand-up, iteration planning, product demos and retrospective meetings; Ensure the functional test team define and maintain automation libraries; Proven track-record for high quality output delivery and worked effectively in agile team environment; and Accountable for application/system security entitlement testing along with security vulnerability compliance validations.
Minimum requirements are: Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or related field; and 5 years of hands-on Cucumber and Unified Functional Testing (UFT) experience creating test automation framework, creation and management of object repositories, Function Libraries, and descriptive programming.
Must have: Total years of experience listed above must include 2 years of prior experience with FX Derivatives and global regulatory requirements for financial instruments; Demonstrated hands-on Cucumber developing and executing sub-GUI test automation scripts; Demonstrated knowledge of financial instruments, particularly Foreign Exchange markets/trading and Regulatory reporting as well as testing FIX protocol and SWIFT messages; Demonstrated experience working with ION's Wall Street Systems (WSS) and/or ION Financial Systems; Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodology; Proven experience working with Java, Java Script, VBScript, VB or VC++; Demonstrated experience in automating Data Centric applications; Demonstrated experience designing and developing custom test automation frameworks using Keyword and Data-Driven methodologies; Proven ability to be hands-on in ORACLE SQL and writing complex SQL Queries; and Demonstrated ability to be an energetic, flexible and responsible team player.
