Who we are looking for

We are currently looking to hire a talented and initiative-taking candidate to join our Global Cash Management team. You will join our business in a dual role as a Portfolio Manager/ Trader and will be responsible for the daily management of our AUD/NZD Fixed Income Beta Solutions & Active Cash strategies.

It is a complex role, offering an opportunity to be a part of a core business unit within a demanding environment. We are looking for applicants with an undergraduate and/or graduate degree in business, economics, or finance, CFA designation is a plus, who have at least 5-10 years of relevant experience in Fixed income/ Cash portfolio management. The ideal employee has excellent analytical skills; communicates ideas clearly and expertly, both verbally and in writing, able to work in an unstructured environment under tight deadlines; enjoys working in a team environment; demonstrates integrity and inspires trust and confidence in others.

What you will be responsible for

As Fixed Income Portfolio Management, Assistant Vice President, you will

  • Maintain a deep understanding of global fixed income/money markets and market structure.
  • As a dual role, manage and trade multi-billion AUD/NZD portfolios from both an Indexed Fixed Income & Money Market portfolio perspective based in Sydney.
  • Ensure effective management of client portfolios in line with their respective investment objectives, guidelines, and restrictions.
  • Ensure that the Fixed Income & Cash strategy funds operate in compliance with internal and external regulations and procedures followed.
  • Communicate regularly and clearly investment philosophy, process, and performance internally and externally.
  • Assist management with defining strategy and market opportunities, maintaining client relationships, business development and marketing.
  • Enthusiastic team member who can collaborate with other members of the Cash and FI team to prepare and analyze client driven bond flows and monthly rebalancing whilst also having the ability to implement trades with broker/dealer panel.
  • Committed to investment excellence, with strong diligence and a collaborative attitude.
  • Ability to embrace multiple internal systems to facilitate both daily management of cash and bond funds.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
