Application Development Consultant (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Quincy, Massachusetts): will be responsible for developing and supporting horizontal shared IT platforms, such as Enterprise Content Management and SOA/ESB based solutions. Specific duties include: Designing and Implementing Enterprise applications adhering to ESB/SOA architecture; delivering timely and cost-efficient IT systems that promote the tenets of service-oriented architecture; reusing existing assets by standardizing, commoditizing, and automating system and business processes to drive cost efficiencies; utilizing expertise in Java/J2EE related technologies such as Spring , Spring, Servlets, Enterprise Java Bean , Struts, Hibernate, Spring Framework, Java Messaging Services, JSP, Java Script, JDBC, JNDI, JTA, JMX, LDAP, Site Minder, MQ, Active MQ, IBM WebSphere MQ, Quartz, Autosys, FIX, SWIFT, and Apache Ant script. Maven; Open Source technologies such as Apache Tomcat, Apache Manifold, and Apache Chemistry, as well as Documentum platforms; and strong end-to-end implementation skills, including product installation and configuration, development of APIs, repository management and security, performance optimization using multiple profiling tools on different application servers, and in Oracle/Exadata, SQL/PL SQL scripts, and NoSQL DB to develop and support State Street's vital technology platforms with latest J2EE standards and best practices; and designing and implementing Enterprise Content Management Systems using Open text Documentum product.
Minimum requirements are: Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; and 5 years of J2EE and related financial technology industry experience.
Must have: Experience with the Design/Implementation of enterprise application using event driven architecture like IBM MQ, Apama; proven knowledge of Enterprise Content Management concepts and best practices; experience in Designing and Integrating Enterprise application using Enterprise Service Bus architecture (JBoss Fuse); experience in creating Business Process Modelling of the applications components using ARIS EA Modelling platform; demonstrated experience with Documentum APIs (custom applications, DFS/DFC, CMIS); demonstrated experience with In-Memory databases like Terracotta, Redis; experience in designing and building multi-tier Load critical application using appropriate Load balancing and caching strategies; ability to multi-task several mission critical tasks/projects with minimal supervision; hands-on experience with source code management best practices, continuous integration, and automated testing; Experience with test-driven development; strong presentation/white boarding skills to lead architecture discussions with other stakeholders and business teams; strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work well under pressure; in-depth knowledge of related enterprise best practices, standards, and libraries; strong Java/J2EE related technologies (XML, J2EE, and Relational database, Servlets, EJB, Struts and Hibernate, Spring Framework, JMS. Experience in developing API layer and other application integrations; proven experience in Core Java Data Structure, Multithreading, JVM Profiling, Heap Dump Analysis, Time Complexity Estimation techniques; configuration and Implementation Experience of Multi Cluster applications in Enterprise J2EE Containers like IBM WebSphere; strong hands on experience in integrating application with Enterprise Security standards using Siteminder, LDAP, Active Directory, TLS, SSL; strong web technology experience such as Spring , Spring Boot, Java Scripting , Struts, JSP, EJB, REST web services, SOAP web services , Java RPC, Java RMI, JDBC, JNDI, JTA, JMX, MQ, Active MQ, Quartz, Autosys, Hibernate, Apache Ant script; experience with Financial Information Exchange (FIX 4.2) protocol; experience in Open source technologies such as Tomcat, Apache Manifold, Apache Chemistry is required; strong hands on experience in Linux shell scripting; knowledge of Documentum platform version 7.2 (Content server, Explorer Server, D2, Documentum administrator, Foundation services - DFS); and strong end to end implementation skills including product installation/Configuration, development of APIs, Repository management and Security.
