to meet the evolving needs of the air focused warfighter. From planning through design, construction

and realignment to addressing environmental concerns and community partnering,

Our USAF account is part

of our US Federal Program. We have a

plan to significantly increase our share of the US Federal market in general

and DOD agencies in particular, especially MILCON. We seek an entrepreneurial individual with the

desire and ability to serve the USAF community, develop and implement

strategies, execute major programs and build a team. As Stantec's USAF Account manager you will

report directly to the US Federal Program Manager, collaborate with business

line leadership and other US Federal Account managers, and lead teams in the

pursuit and execution of major USAF contracts and programs.

Your Primary and SecondaryResponsibilities:

  • Leadership to develop, support,and execute the Stantec USAF Account. This includes development ofstrategies to understand and expand current strengths, understandingcurrent USAF relationships, and organizing that knowledge to establishStantec as the go to provider for the USAF.
  • Engage USAF leadership tounderstand upcoming business and teaming opportunities, and positionStantec for success
  • Engage Stantec Business LineLeaders, Regional Leaders, and individual Business Center leadershipto develop relationships, pursue opportunities, and execute USAF work.
  • In addition to these primaryresponsibilities the successful candidate will:
  • Enhance small business relationships inconjunction with the Small and Disadvantaged Business Program Manager
  • Assist in strategic planningactivities associated with the US Federal Program, including theidentification of potential beneficial acquisitions and transformationalprojects
  • Perform Program Management, QA,and related activities supporting the management and execution ofprojects
  • Represent Stantec withoutreach efforts, including professional societies and otherorganizations linked to the USAF.

Your Capabilities and Credentials:
  • Strong relationships with AFCEC,MAJCOM Detachments, Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), and HQ Air NationalGuard (ANG) along with the active, reserve, and ANG installations
  • Knowledge of the USAF CivilEngineering structure and procurement process
  • Strong understanding of the USAFarchitectural and engineering market
  • Strong business developmentskills, including significant experience building and maintainingproductive relationships with the USAF personnel
  • An entrepreneurial orientationwith strong understanding of the business development challenges of aconsulting-services provider
  • Strong leadership skills,interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Experience in leading a team ofhighly skilled professionals and internal networking across a largeenterprise organization
  • Excellent communication,negotiation, coordination, and managerial skills
  • Experience with and a workingknowledge of the SF330 process
  • Travel is required to manageefforts across the US, Alaska, and Hawaii
  • Engineering or Architectural registrationis preferred, but not required
  • United States Air Forceleadership veterans with extensive A/E contracting experience arepreferred.

Education and Experience:
  • Degreed Engineer orArchitecture
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) yearsof experience with United States Air Force facilities
