Right of Way (ROW) Agent

Your Key Responsibilities

  • All responsibilities required for turnkey Right of Way (ROW) acquisitions, to include appraising, negotiating and relocation, and ability to prepare proper reporting documents
  • Performing, leading, and supervising Right of Way (ROW) activities
  • Plan review
  • Attend meetings with clients
  • Records research to include basic title searches
  • Participating in property evaluations
  • Explaining the program/project to affected parties
  • Cost estimating
  • Conducting building inspections
  • Preparing reports
  • Property management activities
  • Tax assessments
  • Analyses of property transactions
  • Negotiation of complex acquisitions

Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Strong understanding of how to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
  • Understanding of Right of Way (ROW) laws
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
  • Ability to travel to projects throughout North Carolina Preferred Qualifications

Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent

Active NC Brokers License

Minimum of two (2) years Right of Way (ROW) experience

Prior Right of Way (ROW) experience in North Carolina

Prior North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) experience

Active North Carolina Broker In Charge license
