Hydraulic / Senior Hydraulic Engineer

Currently we are looking to recruit Hydraulic Engineers at all levels to be based in any of our offices across the UK. This is a chance to join a dynamic team, supporting the delivery of a variety of projects as part of a major capital investment programme. You will play a key role in advising our clients and partners, working closely with them to ensure delivery of service. You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects including water, wastewater, energy, process and infrastructure portfolios.

About you

To be considered for this opportunity you must be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or other relevant subject and you will have the following:-
  • Experience within the water industry with demonstrable knowledge/experience in hydraulic engineering/fluid mechanics.

For senior/principal roles:
  • Experienced level of leadership i.e. capability in defining and setting direction for a project in respect of the hydraulic/fluid mechanics elements.
  • Experienced level of client service management i.e. ability to build and maintain lasting, positive relationships with Stantec Clients.
  • Experience in the use of some relevant hydraulic analysis software (Eg. Hades, Varisim, Flow 3D, etc.)
